My Handsome Son

He will be 20 soon.
It's amazing he smiled for this photo because he can be camera shy with MOMMY.
I'm so proud of him.

He's grown so much since taking these photos. He went away to training back in February a mixture of a man and a teen. He was already quite mature but after being stripped and rebuilt he called me. When I answered the phone I had to ask, "Who is this MAN who stole my son's deep voice?" You could hear authority, confidence, and strength in his voice. I thoroughly enjoyed the past 20 years being his mom. I'm tearing up as I type this because I love him so much and I am STILL very proud of my young man.

Happy Birthday to My First Born Son, Anthony Clifton Louis Jacobs, Jr. Momma loves you so much dear!

Yay! Doing The Happy Dance Today!

TJ got his driver’s license today!

Yes, that is a good reason to do the happy dance.

However an even better reason is the fact that HE GOT A PERFECT SCORE on his road test!

Did I mention that he got a perfect score on his road test?

That’s a reason to do the happy dance!

Oh Yeah! Perfect SCORE!

Today is Tuesday, December 4, 2007

and I am thankful for:

  • working close to home. I came home for lunch today.
  • sons who love each other. TJ had to walk to another subdivision to pick up his little brother today. Allan really looks up to TJ and admires him. TJ plays well with Allan. They bonded today.
  • appreciation. I love people who appreciate the people in their lives.
  • more lessons learned. I am the person who is ultimately responsible for the amount of bullshit that enters my life. I can either accept it or reject it. The choice is mine.

5th Transfer from 360

I need a vacation from the holiday
Wow am I tired. I need a vacation just to recover from this holiday. I went skating everyday last week and this week. Actually ten days in a row for several hours a day and now I'm worn out. It was great exercise.
The Christmas Eve party at my dad's was great. We had a wonderful time with the family. They even complimented me on my weight gain. They said I look good with a few extra pounds. I won't tell how many extra pounds I've gained.
The wasbund was his usual stupid self over the holidays. That's ok, because I have a nice little surprise for him. I'm sure he'll have a fit over it.
Well, back to work and too tired from the holiday to be very productive.
