A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne
Creator of The Secret

From The Secret Daily Teachings Isn't it great to know that you cannot control your world from the outside? To try and control things on the outside feels impossible because it would take so much work, and in fact it is impossible according to the law of attraction.
To change your world all you have to do is manage your thoughts and feelings on the inside of you, and then your whole world changes.

May the joy be with you,

Rhonda Byrne

So I tried to sell some Christian Louboutin's on ebay today. As soon as I went to view my post, it was removed. Apparently they were not authentic Christian Louboutin's. I bought them online last year. I didn't know. They were too small, that's why I was selling them.

After chatting with ebay customer support, I realized I couldn't relist my shoes. So, I listed the Vera Wang's that were too big. I KNOW the Vera Wang's are authentic because I bought them from Kohl's and they came in a Vera Wang box and all.

Let's see how this new listing goes.

Motivational Monday 5/3/2010

When the Israelites were in the wilderness/desert traveling from Egypt to The Promised Land, God provided them with all of the water and manna that they needed.  Even with all of the manna and water that they needed along with a guide to follow by day and night, there were some of them who were still ungrateful.

Water from a rock from God was not good enough for some of them because they longed for what they had when they were captives back in Egypt. (Who would want anything that is left over from their old captive lifestyle?) They complained about the manna (Angel Food!  Who complains about Angel Food?) because they missed the meals they were used to back in Egypt (captivity).  God had a different plan for them and they were still ungrateful.

What the Israelites did not realize was that God was imposing on them a much needed fast to purge them of everything (old habits, old routines, food, stinking thinking, complacency, etc..) they acquired in Egypt.  They couldn't live and thrive in The Promised Land with the lifestyle they had become accustomed to in Egypt (captivity).  None of that was not allowed in The Promised Land.

When a fast is imposed on you by God, accept it, learn from it, and grow with it so that you can move on to the next level (The Promised Land) in His time His way.  Pray for vision and guidance during your fast and accept it as the Blessing from God that it is.  He is just preparing you for the next level (The Promised Land).

What is your captivity?
What is your wilderness/desert/God imposed fast?
What is your Promised Land?

How are you thankful for the fast and how are you obeying God to make it to The Promised Land?

To Those I love and Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, and let me go
I have so many things to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears,
Be thankful for our beautiful years.
I gave to you my love.  You can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But for now it's time I traveled on alone.
So grieve a while for me, if you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a time that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call, and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way
Alone.
I'll greet you with a smile and say:
"WELCOME HOME"
