Monitoring is Important

I’ve been monitoring at My Fico. My Equifax score went up 21 points. My TransUnion is unchanged. That other agency doesn’t report to consumers anymore. Bummer. I like the Score Watch feature because it shows my progress over any specified time period.

My Fico also gives scenarios on how to improve or hurt your score over a specific time period.

I am going to purchase a new house and car within the next 12-24 months, and I want GREAT rates.

How to learn to flirt

"I don't think I "LEARNED" to flirt. It just comes naturally to me."

How I did it: How did I do it?  Flirting oozes from me.  I am a natural.  Maybe I learned it from both of my parents since BOTH of them are natural flirts.

When flirting, you have to be sincere all the time.  I think the most important part of successful flirting is being yourself.  Don't be afraid to be as expressive as possible.

Lessons & tips:

  • Always smile.

  • Compliment often

  • Be Coy

  • Know your worth and feel it

  • Be sincere

  • Be yourself

  • Be expressive, but don't over do it.

30 Rock
Fey developed a sitcom, 30 Rock, for NBC’s fall 2006 schedule. The show is produced by NBC and Broadway Video, with Lorne Michaels and two former producers of The Tracy Morgan Show, David Miner, who is also her manager at 3 Arts, and Joann Alfano. Fey also writes and stars in the sitcom, said to be based on her experiences at SNL.
The show made its debut with mostly positive reviews but weak ratings. Ratings improved when NBC moved it to the Thursday night “Must See TV” comedy block. NBC renewed the series for a second season, which began in October 2007.
In July 2007, Fey was nominated for an Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series Emmy for her role as Liz Lemon. The show itself won the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series. In 2008, she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, and won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series on January 27.
Along with the rest of the show’s writing staff, Fey participated in the 2007-08 Writers Guild of America strike, which began on November 5, 2007 and concluded on February 12, 2008. While picketing in Rockefeller Center on the first day of the strike, Fey was quoted as saying, “I’m a member of the Guild and I am here to support my fellow Guild members. This strike affects the show in which I work. We put our pens down yesterday, and we will not write until negotiations resume.” Fey, however, continued with her acting and producing duties on 30 Rock, as required by her contract. Production on 30 Rock ended Friday, November 9, 2007 and resumed 95 days later, at the conclusion of the writers strike, on February 12, 2008.

The show’s third season premiered on October 30, 2008.

Keala Jacobs April 7, 2009

“To live only for some future goal is shallow. It’s the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top.”—Robert M. Pirsig

I woke up this morning thinking about my dad. I’m going to miss him. I almost called him this morning. My mom had John Brown on her mind as well. She called me to talk about him. She said she could see him singing, “I’m Going To Go Be With Jesus.”

She said she had to tell me, “He was a peaceful and humble man. You have him and me inside you. Take his peaceful spirit and humbleness with you. Embrace it.”

“Yes ma’am,” I replied.

She continued, “He never had harsh words for anybody.”

“Not even Blahblah Nameless.” I replied, knowing how he felt about this person. He told me this person gave him the chills.

“That’s right. Not even her.” My mom agreed.

I went for mile walk at 10:41 this morning. ALONE! Cynthia was suppose to go with me, but lovely lady stood me up again. I even did yoga this morning. Yoga is not easy, yet. I’m determined to continue until it becomes easy for me.

Valentines Day 2009

This year was sweeter than last year. The man is sweeter too.

2 dozen fresh cut tulips.
A large bag filled with dark chocolates. I love dark chocolates.
A teddy bear that said I’m a keeper.
He brought all of that to my job and surprised me. How sweet.
Dinner at Arizona’s.
Movie.

Now it’s time to be honest. I’ll tell the story how it really happened.

He called me and asked what time I was getting off that Friday. I told him. He responded with news that he had a delivery coming to my job between 3 and 4. Cool, I’ll still be at work.

Around 3:30 TJ called to tell me his truck broke down and I had to pick him up. So, I left to go get TJ and call the insurance company to have his truck towed.

On my way to my car, I called him to tell him that his delivery had not made it yet and I had to leave. He told me that the delivery guy was there and I should look up.

I looked up and there he was in all BLACK walking towards me, looking oh so sexy, and carrying an arm full of tulips. He had a big gift bag in the other arm filled with dark chocolates.

Dude scored big time that day. I was pleasantly surprised.

Too bad on Valentines day he took Ms. Cranky to dinner, or at least he tried to take Ms. Cranky to dinner. She wanted to go to Arizona’s, but the wait was 2 hours. OH NO! We cannot wait 2 hours for dinner. So, we went to several different restaurants looking for one with little to no wait time. Good luck with that on Valentine’s day.

After they left Red Lobster, Ms. Cranky had reached her cranky height. In the car he had the audacity to recommend yet another restaurant. Ms. Cranky had had enough and she replied with, “You can just take me home and you go find some food. I KNOW what I want, and if I can’t have it I’d rather starve.”

After that outburst, the poor sweet man became afraid of Ms. Cranky. Needless to say, she got what she wanted from Arizona’s and afterwards turned into Keala the sweetest woman a man could want.

Crabcakes and wine. lol

Did I mention we saw Slumdog Millionaire and we both hated it?
